AcisTek Corporation is seeking an experienced Agile Web Developer with exceptional communication and organizational skills to provide development, support and maintenance. This is a mid-level position where the successful candidate will be required to perform high quality development tasks, working directly with an agile scrum team including developers and analysts.
 
The Position:
Participate in the entire software development life cycle including two week Agile SCRUM development Sprints – activities include: interfacing with business analysts and clients to refine development requirements; developing code; functionally testing fellow developer’s code; pushing code through development, QA, training and production environments; updating code based on changing requirements; and participating in Sprint meetings (planning sessions, daily stand, up and retrospective);Assist with programming and coding of specific features within an application upon assignment of a story, support, or bug ticket through the JIRA ticketing system Test functionality of the application code on multiple browsers based on business and development requirements to ensure code meets agreed upon specifications as well as generate and update testing documents Assist with the maintenance of data integrity across applications – including inserting, updating and deleting data based on application specifications to ensure continuous data consistency Must be a team player with multi-tasking, problem solving, and customer service skills Other similar professional duties as assigned
 
Programming Languages:
ColdFusion is the primary development language in use. In addition, knowledge of Java CSS XML SQL Oracle JSON HTML JavaScript and JQuery
 
The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have at least 2-4 years of web development experience with Cold Fusion, with a computer science degree or comparative work experience. Experience with development, maintenance of complex web based business application. Experience with Grants Management web based applications is a plus.

AcisTek Corporationis seeking an experienced Systems Security Administrator who holds a current Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and CompTIA Security+ Certifications. This Systems Security Administrator must have strong communication and leadership skills to ensure enterprise security best practices are enforced across systems, applications and data storage.

This position includes but is not limited to:
The Position:
  • Provide Information Systems Security services to support enterprise applications and architecture design
  • Identify application security vulnerabilities, leveraging your knowledge of application development practices
  • Directly support and coordinate SSAE, ST&E and SSP deliverable requirements
  • Perform information security application across a variety of technologies
  • Configure, run and monitor automated security testing tools

AcisTek Corporation, a growing IT professional services firm located in Crystal City, VA, is seeking an experienced IT Governance Specialist – CPIC (Capital Planning and Investment Control) Specialist with great business process management and re-engineering skills and knowledge of Federal Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC) and Information Technology (IT) Investment Review Board (ITIRB) processes combined with excellent communication and leadership skills supporting one of our Federal civilian agency clients.


The Position:
  • Under guidance from the Contract Program Manager, assist the client with long term strategy development, tracking legislative updates and making policy recommendations
  • Meet with senior client leadership daily to relay progress and establish priorities
  • Provide direct assistance in key strategic planning documentation including OMB Form 300 (CPIC)
  • Create and establish processes for investment planning, selection, control, and evaluation of all financial aspects applicable to Program Office IT investments.
  • Support the development of IT program budget requests and provide advice, training, tools, and analysis on financial best practices.
  • Assist the Policy and Planning lead to drive the end-to-end strategic planning process by conducting research and analysis to develop, integrate, disseminate, and implement client business and IT strategic plans, including individual plans for areas such as infrastructure and operations, acquisition, and communications
  • Ensure IT investment decisions are consistent with established strategic goals, providing additional clarity when they are not in alignment
  • Ensure strategy, policies, and processes align with federal mandates
  • Using a stakeholder engagement plan and processes, maintain communication with stakeholders across the enterprise and change lifecycle
  • Develop results-driven performance metrics to track progress toward meeting strategic goals and make recommendations to the client for action
  • Ensure client strategic plan provides the context for decisions about performance goals, priorities, human capital planning and budget planning in accordance with GPRA and OMB A-11 Part 6 Section 230 requirements.
  • Assist in the early life cycle steps of acquisition planning for IT transitions, including proper coordination with acquisitions, risk, and Cybersecurity and Privacy divisions
  • Define a policy development framework in coordination with all OCIO divisions to define a consistent consultation, review, approval, and implementation format.

AcisTek CorporationCorporation is currently seeking a .Net Developer to join our team in supporting a Government client and business partner in the Washington, DC area.

You will become part of a small agile team involved in developing cloud based web applications that leverage legacy client data and help to produce improved data analysis and reporting capabilities for our clients. The project includes updating and migrating existing ColdFusion code to .NET. Knowledge of ColdFusion a plus but not required.


Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
  • Participate in the entire software development life cycle for migration and updates for enterprise web applications to .NET
  • Support the software development life cycle for a small cross functional team tasked with developing new capabilities for our client to access, analyze and generate reports on mission critical data from legacy systems
  • Participate in the planning and execution of new web applications
  • Develop the application tiers, layers and components, and the integration with other systems
  • Test all aspects of the application code and the code of team members to ensure the system works accurately and meets the defined specifications
  • Documenting all processes as required in the software development life cycle
  • Must be a team player with multi-tasking, problem solving, and customer service skills


The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidates will have at least 1-2 years of application development experience with .Net with a computer science degree or comparative work experience. N-tier development experience and knowledge of .NET Framework, C# are preferred.
